To configure your PC to run Blackboard.
When content will not run on Blackboard.
- Ensure that all pop up blockers are switched off (remember some toolbars have pop up blockers e.g. google toolbar).
- Ensure the relevant plug-ins are installed – Flash Player, Shockwave Player, Authorware Player, Java and Acrobat reader.
- Enable cookies, Java and Javascript
When using Microsoft Vista and IE7 - switch off protected mode.
- Start internet explorer
- Open tools>internet options.
- Open the Security tab Remove the tick against Enable Protected mode
- Restart internet explorer.
The user will get security warning messaged until this is re-enabled.
