Where to get help

If you are experiencing problems with IT while at Aberdeen College, there are a number of different ways you can get help.

Student Helpdesk

This is run by students for students. It is located in the Information & Booking Centre at Gallowgate. In Block 1, the opening hours are 10am to 4pm.

The Student Helpdesk can help with passwords, give advice on IT related issues and log support calls for faults. The Student Helpdesk can be visited in person or can be contacted via e-mail on student studenthelpdesk@abcol.ac.uk

Helpdesk

The general Helpdesk can help you anytime you require support or help with IT issues.

IT Centre

Ask at the reception desk (or any available member of IT Centre staff) you can get help using the computers.

We are here to help you do anything from getting started to creating a CV or surfing the web. There will always be a "floating" Instructor on duty at the reception for this purpose. All you need to do is ask.
