Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)

Students aged between 16 and 19 years who commence on full-time, non-advanced courses may be eligible for an EMA of up to £30 per week. This is based on household income and is paid to those students who attend 100% and make good progress on their course. The EMA is paid fortnightly in arrears. Please note that bursary and EMA payments cannot be made unless you have supplied your completed application form along with the necessary supporting documents.
