Welcome to the IT Centre
The IT Centre has a dual purpose, primarily; it is an open plan teaching area, boasting almost two hundred desktop computers and seventy Apple Macs, in which IT units are delivered throughout the day, to students across all disciplines and sectors. Whilst, on the other hand, it is a self study area, in to which students are welcome to utilise facilities for study purposes. In fact a number of PCs have been set aside specifically for this reason, as well as a dedicated wireless laptop zone. All Desktop computers are primed with office software and internet access, whilst the Apple Macs are loaded with the latest graphics software.
Additionally, the IT Centre has a catalogue of self teach short courses ranging from Microsoft office packages to Networking essentials and Business writing, offered to the community and available on a flexible basis during the evenings, at weekends, and during College holiday periods.
